What Data Centre does for you
Database structure and field set-up
DATA CENTRE allows you to set-up as many database fields as you like, as well as easily add more in the future. A key part of the set-up of your system involves us working with you to ensure the fields you choose for your database are capable of supporting your strategic marketing objectives.
Database search and selection options
DATA CENTRE allows you to segment your database in an unlimited number of ways, using the fields in your marketing database as building blocks. This means you can drill down to target key market segments.
Add, import, export members to and from your database
DATA CENTRE makes it easy to get data in and out of your database. This includes manual data entry, as well as import and export routines.
Third party database synchronization
You are able to synchronize the data with some third party systems, to make sure the customer data you hold in various databases across your business is always in synch.
Bounce management
If an email address is no longer in use, a message sent to that address would bounce back to where it came from. DATA CENTRE automatically records every time an email bounces and if a member bounces three times in a row, that record is removed from future mail outs. At any stage, you can find all “bad” records and remove them. Or, you can contact the members to update their profiles.
Suppression list management
If a database member un-subscribes from your database, a record is kept of this to avoid that member from being inadvertently re-entered into the database in the future. These inactive records are kept as part of your suppression list.
